Samsung Galaxy S III (3) Gets Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Update (AT&T, T-Mobile)

Samsung Galaxy S III (3) Gets Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Update (AT&T, T-Mobile)

According to that picture the S3 had some beautiful colors.
Anyways, Thanks to DocHoliday77 over at XDA, you can now get the TouchWiz 4.4.2 Kitkat version for your Galaxy S3. Long awaited update, we still haven't reached the OTA, but I am running this ROM, and I have to say it's smoother than a baby's bottom....
The RAM Typically uses under 800MB as to the previous builds used around 1GB out of 1.56GB, thanks to Kitkat we now have more available RAM as the it is not a resource hog.

According to almost anyone owning a Galaxy S3, the 4.3 Update was the Windows Vista of Android for the flagship phone.

All in all I don't believe this phone will have many more updates available through OTA (if any), this means we will probably start relying on Cyanogenmod of Developers for the latest versions of Android available.

Be sure to grab this update/ROM over at XDA and give Doc a quick thanks, or even a donation. Link is below for all of that good stuff.

Though it says for "T-mobile" It still works on an AT&T variant as well, I am running that rom from that page on my AT&T variant as we speak.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this build for the Galaxy S3! Much more news to come.

Signing off..

LikeWise S6? Will it be a Thing?

LikeWise S6? Will it be a Thing? Hopefully! I mean its very possible, for the Galaxy S3, and S4. I have not gotten ahold of a Galaxy S5 yet (Send me one I'll do it, thanks!) What this will consist of, again is bringing the look, the UI, and just the smoothness of the device to your older Galaxy device. Which is a new life for the older gen devices right? LikeWise S5 was such a huge hit for the Galaxy S3, I would love to participate in a new ROM, aside from my LG G2 work. Anyways I really want to do this! and I will! for any device I can, if you want to donate a device to me, for any development, I will definitely follow up on your wishes! Thanks everyone for reading this short :) AndroidGuruGuy

ZTE Blade S6, Deal for $250, Octo Core Snapdragon 615

ZTE Blade S6, Deal for $250, Octo Core Snapdragon 615 ZTE has been known for the cheap phones that run Android, and thats about it in the past. Take a look at this! The ZTE Blade S6, It's a nice looking device, and guess what? It sports a nice Snapdragon 615 chip, with 8 cores! You heard right! They still do not want to break your budget, this phone is yours for $250, I'm sure itll be on the shelf at Walmart here soon. You get: 8 Core processor Android Lollipop 13MP Camera 16GB storage and 2GB of RAM That's a pretty powerful device for the price! Now, I do understand it looks a bit like the iPhone 6, and I'm sure thats where the inspiration comes from. All Chinese devices have some sort of inspiration , or mocking ability (lol) My thoughts? The last ZTE phone I had was the first ZTE Avail, this was about the first Android phone I had, and it ran a stock version of Gingerbread, I was happy with it from what I knew then. I still have the pho...

Samsung Galaxy S3 Google Play Edition (USA Versions)

Samsung Galaxy S3 Google Play Edition (USA Versions) I'm excited to bring you this news today, Galaxy S3 users can now download the Google Play Edition of Android (As close as you will get to it) only on USA Versions as of right now. It all started when I got inspired by the sunbeam live wallpaper (How loco?). I decided to disect a Cyanogenmod Rom, first I started with AOKP, but was not satisfied by all the more options. Options are never a bad thing, but when you start with a 4.4.2 Nightly build of AOKP, You don't know where the heck the lockscreen settings are, or in fact I don't think it added any options for the lockscreen ring. They are still working on it, the rom is pretty crystal clear, and pure right now as it is. I decided to revise. I turned to the CM10.2 version, and started to play with it, luckily I soon got all the Google Apps installed correctly with no problem, and now I'm working on a revised build of the 4.4.2 Google Play Edition. I know just...
