Android 5.1 Lollipop Releasing Next Month

Android 5.1 Lollipop Releasing Next Month

So, near the end of February, or beginning of Next month, Android 5.1 Lollipop is expected to be released. There are to be numerous bug fixes, and stability issues corrected, the list that I got is below

  • Silent Mode is Back
  • System Stability
  • RAM Management
  • Fixes for FC
  • Battery improvement
  • Excessive Consumption of Network devices with used Wi-Fi
  • Wireless connections fixed
  • Okay Google functionality restored
  • Notifications issues fixed
  • Other Improvements
  • Changes in the MTL Design color palette
The fixes will be updated automatically in the newer Cyanogenmod Nightlies for CM12. Android took such a big hit because Lollipop was Anticipated, The developers wanted to release it, and it was nearly a whole platform change, in the sense of Integration, and Interface, you know it looks totally different than 4.2+, Almost unrecognizable. Some users complained about the Material design color palette, but I thought it was perfect, so the vibrancy may change, hopefully more positive than it is currently, but if not I'm sure it'll still look really nice!
All in all, I know we all can't wait for the newest upgrades, updates, ect. So I hope this one will be a good one! Thanks for reading!

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies I am currently releasing the D801 (T-Mobile LG G2) Builds for the D800. Basically, I am taking the D801 CM12 Nightlies ever so often, and modifying the kernel for AT&T G2 Devices. I will be releasing these every 5-10 days, until the official CM12 Nightlies start coming in for the D800, which shouldn't be too far along.  Everything seems to work so far, last week I had a build that didn't have the Display & Lights option working, but on the Feb. 21st build, it is successfully working flawlessly. Comments below, or on the XDA Thread will be helpful, also reporting to CM the issues because chances are, if you're having a bug, the T-Mobile users are too. This is version 5.0.2, and will be updated from time to time! Working: Everything I see so far. Not Working: Nothing, The Display and Lights option crash was fixed. What is Android?

What is Android? Android is a Free Open Source Operating system, mostly seen on mobile devices these days such as smart phones, tablets, and is the base Operating system behind the Kindle fire, & Nook Color. It is safe to say Android is built upon Linux. When you hear of "Linux" you think of Ubuntu immediately if you're a novice, or "noob" with the Linux operating system. Well though Ubuntu is built upon Linux, and is commonly used on any machine using it, but it isn't what linux is. Linux is basically a terminal/operating system like you would say DOS is. Linux is basically a Unix clone, which is what Mac OS X is built upon. Linux is free, and if you ever payed for it, demand a refund, but don't get yourself in danger over it! (lol) So from this, we know Linux is just basically the background software, which runs all the commands it needs to, to give you a functioning GUI (Graphical User Interface) for easier ways to use ...

LikeWise S6? Will it be a Thing?

LikeWise S6? Will it be a Thing? Hopefully! I mean its very possible, for the Galaxy S3, and S4. I have not gotten ahold of a Galaxy S5 yet (Send me one I'll do it, thanks!) What this will consist of, again is bringing the look, the UI, and just the smoothness of the device to your older Galaxy device. Which is a new life for the older gen devices right? LikeWise S5 was such a huge hit for the Galaxy S3, I would love to participate in a new ROM, aside from my LG G2 work. Anyways I really want to do this! and I will! for any device I can, if you want to donate a device to me, for any development, I will definitely follow up on your wishes! Thanks everyone for reading this short :) AndroidGuruGuy
