Playing with the Galaxy S2 SGH-I777

Playing with the Galaxy S2 SGH-I777

I had a generous person just give me a couple of Galaxy S2's and S3's, However I took immediate interest in the Galaxy S2's, and made one good one out of all the parts.
The phone was still a virgin, and still on Gingerbread, thats what interested me so much about it, however that did not last very long.
I updated it to the 4.1.2, rooted, and installed Carbon ROM. Very smooth, I could safely say I would rock this phone as a daily driver, if I did not have a newer phone.

Is it sad that this phone is rather aging, but I still dig the design? I miss the full set of buttons on the bottom as well.
The only thing I don't miss about these old LCD's is the burn ins that majority of the used S2's have, however this one is minimum. YAY!

With that being said, What ROMs do you recommend for this good ol' boy?
Leave your comments, questions, what have you......

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain   Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is coming out very soon, and as heard it is coming to the last gen consoles as well, and looks very good. Today I am clearing up a few questions that may be amongst anyone of us. Can I fight with my friend, to defend his FOB? Unfortunately no, No co-op, but you can fight in place of them to help them protect their base.   What can we do at our motherbases? Train, Target practice, Shower, explore, talk, fight with fellow diamond dogs, and more! You'll have to find out for yourself September first! What Features need Xbox Live Gold, and Playstation Plus? To play online you'll need both Xbox Live Gold, and Playstation Plus. FOB, and base defense can be customized while you play offline. What systems will Konami bring this game to? Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Xbox one, Playstation 4, and PC as of right now. This is a new section I will be trying to keep up with along with the ...

What is Android?

What is Android? Android is a Free Open Source Operating system, mostly seen on mobile devices these days such as smart phones, tablets, and is the base Operating system behind the Kindle fire, & Nook Color. It is safe to say Android is built upon Linux. When you hear of "Linux" you think of Ubuntu immediately if you're a novice, or "noob" with the Linux operating system. Well though Ubuntu is built upon Linux, and is commonly used on any machine using it, but it isn't what linux is. Linux is basically a terminal/operating system like you would say DOS is. Linux is basically a Unix clone, which is what Mac OS X is built upon. Linux is free, and if you ever payed for it, demand a refund, but don't get yourself in danger over it! (lol) So from this, we know Linux is just basically the background software, which runs all the commands it needs to, to give you a functioning GUI (Graphical User Interface) for easier ways to use ...

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies I am currently releasing the D801 (T-Mobile LG G2) Builds for the D800. Basically, I am taking the D801 CM12 Nightlies ever so often, and modifying the kernel for AT&T G2 Devices. I will be releasing these every 5-10 days, until the official CM12 Nightlies start coming in for the D800, which shouldn't be too far along.  Everything seems to work so far, last week I had a build that didn't have the Display & Lights option working, but on the Feb. 21st build, it is successfully working flawlessly. Comments below, or on the XDA Thread will be helpful, also reporting to CM the issues because chances are, if you're having a bug, the T-Mobile users are too. This is version 5.0.2, and will be updated from time to time! Working: Everything I see so far. Not Working: Nothing, The Display and Lights option crash was fixed.
