Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Gets 5.1.1 Update, Stagefright Fix

Sprint Galaxy Note 4 Gets 5.1.1 Update, Stagefright fix is included. Below is all of the fixes, and patches that are included in this update package.

  • Android version 5.1.1, Lollipop OS Upgrade
  • Message Waiting Indicator fix
  • Security fix (Stagefright)
  • Misc. bug fixes
Stagefright is a media handler component that can be exploited to exploit a phone via MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) So the top headline has been lately, "Android Phones are in Danger!'

Nexus Updates should start rolling out next week with these patches, and it looks like Sprint is wasting no time for its customers, which is always reassuring for a carrier to be that way, working for people who are paying for their services.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Google Play Edition (USA Versions)

Samsung Galaxy S3 Google Play Edition (USA Versions) I'm excited to bring you this news today, Galaxy S3 users can now download the Google Play Edition of Android (As close as you will get to it) only on USA Versions as of right now. It all started when I got inspired by the sunbeam live wallpaper (How loco?). I decided to disect a Cyanogenmod Rom, first I started with AOKP, but was not satisfied by all the more options. Options are never a bad thing, but when you start with a 4.4.2 Nightly build of AOKP, You don't know where the heck the lockscreen settings are, or in fact I don't think it added any options for the lockscreen ring. They are still working on it, the rom is pretty crystal clear, and pure right now as it is. I decided to revise. I turned to the CM10.2 version, and started to play with it, luckily I soon got all the Google Apps installed correctly with no problem, and now I'm working on a revised build of the 4.4.2 Google Play Edition. I know just...

HTC Sense 7 LEAKED SCREENSHOTS!!!

HTC Sense 7 LEAKED SCREENSHOTS!!! Android "L" or Lollipop, also known as 5.0 is coming soon, well that means an all new Sense is on its way too of course! If you look at the above images you can definitely see how influenced Sense 7 is by Android L. Android 5, L is basically all themed on flat, but vibrant colors. This teal is one color option, but it's very nicely displayed by HTC Sense 7. I'm for sure the HTC One M8, as well as a lot of other HTC devices will be getting this Sense 7 update in the nearing future. There is also talk on a All new HTC Desire coming soon, will it be shipped stock with Sense 7, Android 5, L? I guess its a waiting game for HTC Fanboys. HTC has been on their game here lately with the slickness, and beauty of devices. I got a chance to play around with the HTC One M8 a little bit, and have to say I liked it very much, then the iPhone 6 came out, and I wondered if they were trying to copy some of the style? Get your own style...

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies I am currently releasing the D801 (T-Mobile LG G2) Builds for the D800. Basically, I am taking the D801 CM12 Nightlies ever so often, and modifying the kernel for AT&T G2 Devices. I will be releasing these every 5-10 days, until the official CM12 Nightlies start coming in for the D800, which shouldn't be too far along.  Everything seems to work so far, last week I had a build that didn't have the Display & Lights option working, but on the Feb. 21st build, it is successfully working flawlessly. Comments below, or on the XDA Thread will be helpful, also reporting to CM the issues because chances are, if you're having a bug, the T-Mobile users are too. This is version 5.0.2, and will be updated from time to time! Working: Everything I see so far. Not Working: Nothing, The Display and Lights option crash was fixed.
