LG G5 AND FRIENDS, AKA Modules! The First Actual Modular Phone?

LG G5 AND FRIENDS, AKA Modules! The First Actual Modular Phone?

The LG G5

This... This is the LG G5, and it has modules, Extra battery, Camera, and more.
Basically the LG G5 is the first look at a modular phone, but nothing we expected as of before. Honestly it looks like a nice Nexus 6P or Nexus 5P but with LG Accessories, and skinned software. This leaves room for way better camera modules from your favorite brands like Nikon, Canon, and Sony. Allthough a Sony camera is nothing new to Android devices, they have carried just about the best camera thus far. This leaves tons of more room for custom roms, and software, but will need to include all of the drivers, framework or flashables for the extras.

My Thoughts

The only thing I worry about now, is does this leave room for LG to release the device with parts that are subpar, just to get the consumer to spend more money on the modules? I've seen somewhere the modules will cost more than $150 depending on the branding, and module you are looking to upgrade. This is by far NOTHING like Project Ara, but it's a start to give us more of an idea. Honestly the device looks pretty good, given it looks like an alien tool for probing, but LG has always been great at this (Starting with the LG G2). All in all, I will review the final product, but will probably not waste my time or money on the modules.. For now.

Also, Thanks to anyone who has stayed tuned this far, I know I have off and on times, but I always do come back to talk about my favorite devices or anything that intrigues me. Soon I want to start up a Youtube channel, but I'm still a bit camera shy. Writing is getting pretty old though, I can write, and make videos, a vlog with a blog is always good.

Thanks for reading, please share my content! Thanks!

Ryzen 7 1800X Overview, 1 Week in

Ryzen 7 1800X Overview, 1 Week in Ryzen 7 1800X Overview, 1 Week in The Ryzen family of AMD's processors are here, and they're great so far. So I got my hands on one finally, so this is my Ryzen 7 1800X Overview, 1 Week in. First Glance This is great, AMD has finally phased out the FM2 and AMD3 sockets! It has been WAY overdue, and finally a new board and alignment has hit the market. What this means is, there can be more transistors, and components put onto the chip, which means in return, better performance. It looks beautiful, in terms of it being just a component for a computer, which is just basically a cluster of a lot of components together, as one big machine!  Specs The Ryzen 7 1800X comes stock with the core clock at 3.7GHz with 8 Cores, and 16 Threads. Also including 16MB of L3 Smart Cache. The core clock can also be turbo up to 4.0GHz with an unlocked motherboard. So far so good.  Stock Performance With Cinebench R15 I got a nice scor...

Samsung Galaxy S3 Google Play Edition (USA Versions)

Samsung Galaxy S3 Google Play Edition (USA Versions) I'm excited to bring you this news today, Galaxy S3 users can now download the Google Play Edition of Android (As close as you will get to it) only on USA Versions as of right now. It all started when I got inspired by the sunbeam live wallpaper (How loco?). I decided to disect a Cyanogenmod Rom, first I started with AOKP, but was not satisfied by all the more options. Options are never a bad thing, but when you start with a 4.4.2 Nightly build of AOKP, You don't know where the heck the lockscreen settings are, or in fact I don't think it added any options for the lockscreen ring. They are still working on it, the rom is pretty crystal clear, and pure right now as it is. I decided to revise. I turned to the CM10.2 version, and started to play with it, luckily I soon got all the Google Apps installed correctly with no problem, and now I'm working on a revised build of the 4.4.2 Google Play Edition. I know just...

HTC 10 IS A VERY SERIOUS DEVICE

HTC 10 IS A VERY SERIOUS DEVICE HTC 10 IS A VERY SERIOUS DEVICE So I have been recently checking out the Newborn HTC Baby, the HTC 10. It looks a lot like the A9 in the front, but a M9 in the back, sort of? The HTC 10 is a very serious device.. I really like this device to start off, especially how HTC brought back the stealth black color option, that really makes my day, because with my M8 I had to replace the metal housing with a stealth black 3rd party part, because the Gunmetal Grey wasn't enough for me.. However that is definitely not the case here. LET'S get into the specifications here! Yeah the hardware! This baby rocks a quad core (2 Dual core processors) Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo This is on the Snapdragon 820 Chipset, and to help it along has 4GB of RAM, or Memory. This is a 5.2" Screen, using a newer technology the Super LCD5 under a coating of Gorilla Glass 4. The OS We're running here is Android 6.0.1 Marsh...
