Ryzen 7 1800X Overview, 1 Week in
The Ryzen family of AMD's processors are here, and they're great so far. So I got my hands on one finally, so this is my Ryzen 7 1800X Overview, 1 Week in.

First Glance

This is great, AMD has finally phased out the FM2 and AMD3 sockets! It has been WAY overdue, and finally a new board and alignment has hit the market.

What this means is, there can be more transistors, and components put onto the chip, which means in return, better performance. It looks beautiful, in terms of it being just a component for a computer, which is just basically a cluster of a lot of components together, as one big machine!

Specs

The Ryzen 7 1800X comes stock with the core clock at 3.7GHz with 8 Cores, and 16 Threads. Also including 16MB of L3 Smart Cache. The core clock can also be turbo up to 4.0GHz with an unlocked motherboard. So far so good.

Stock Performance

With Cinebench R15 I got a nice score of 159/1612 This is by far the fastest processor in the $500 USD range. For the buck, you do get a huge bang.

Final Overlook

Overall, the Zen family of processors have placed another great choice on the table. However to me this is like choosing a tender, juicy pork chop over Prime Rib perfectly cooked. Allthough I do appreciate a new AMD processor, I could have possibly gotten better performance from say a Core i7 5960, with slight overclocking, but I am happy. Also Pairing this with a AMD Rx 470.

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies

LG G2 AT&T (D800) Cyanogenmod Semi-Nightlies I am currently releasing the D801 (T-Mobile LG G2) Builds for the D800. Basically, I am taking the D801 CM12 Nightlies ever so often, and modifying the kernel for AT&T G2 Devices. I will be releasing these every 5-10 days, until the official CM12 Nightlies start coming in for the D800, which shouldn't be too far along.  Everything seems to work so far, last week I had a build that didn't have the Display & Lights option working, but on the Feb. 21st build, it is successfully working flawlessly. Comments below, or on the XDA Thread will be helpful, also reporting to CM the issues because chances are, if you're having a bug, the T-Mobile users are too. This is version 5.0.2, and will be updated from time to time! Working: Everything I see so far. Not Working: Nothing, The Display and Lights option crash was fixed. What is Android?

What is Android? Android is a Free Open Source Operating system, mostly seen on mobile devices these days such as smart phones, tablets, and is the base Operating system behind the Kindle fire, & Nook Color. It is safe to say Android is built upon Linux. When you hear of "Linux" you think of Ubuntu immediately if you're a novice, or "noob" with the Linux operating system. Well though Ubuntu is built upon Linux, and is commonly used on any machine using it, but it isn't what linux is. Linux is basically a terminal/operating system like you would say DOS is. Linux is basically a Unix clone, which is what Mac OS X is built upon. Linux is free, and if you ever payed for it, demand a refund, but don't get yourself in danger over it! (lol) So from this, we know Linux is just basically the background software, which runs all the commands it needs to, to give you a functioning GUI (Graphical User Interface) for easier ways to use ...

LikeWise S6? Will it be a Thing?

LikeWise S6? Will it be a Thing? Hopefully! I mean its very possible, for the Galaxy S3, and S4. I have not gotten ahold of a Galaxy S5 yet (Send me one I'll do it, thanks!) What this will consist of, again is bringing the look, the UI, and just the smoothness of the device to your older Galaxy device. Which is a new life for the older gen devices right? LikeWise S5 was such a huge hit for the Galaxy S3, I would love to participate in a new ROM, aside from my LG G2 work. Anyways I really want to do this! and I will! for any device I can, if you want to donate a device to me, for any development, I will definitely follow up on your wishes! Thanks everyone for reading this short :) AndroidGuruGuy
