Samsung Galaxy S III (3) Gets Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Update (AT&T, T-Mobile) According to that picture the S3 had some beautiful colors. Anyways, Thanks to DocHoliday77 over at XDA, you can now get the TouchWiz 4.4.2 Kitkat version for your Galaxy S3. Long awaited update, we still haven't reached the OTA, but I am running this ROM, and I have to say it's smoother than a baby's bottom.... The RAM Typically uses under 800MB as to the previous builds used around 1GB out of 1.56GB, thanks to Kitkat we now have more available RAM as the it is not a resource hog. According to almost anyone owning a Galaxy S3, the 4.3 Update was the Windows Vista of Android for the flagship phone. All in all I don't believe this phone will have many more updates available through OTA (if any), this means we will probably start relying on Cyanogenmod of Developers for the latest versions of Android available.
